Xmas Shopping: Last minute ideas

Christmas Present

With only a few days left before the Christmas Bells start ringing, not all of us have finished the shopping list and could use some good tips on what to buy last minute. There are so many treasures hidden in Cabarete, that you shall not ever worry; Anything is possible in Cabarete. Have a look at some of the ideas we have picked up through the grapevine.

DiCAPac water housing cameraGeeky and practical - for the passionate photographer
Earlier this year we were introduced to this apparently fantastic new product in town, called DiCAPac; a waterproof case with a price tag way below those most photographers expect to pay. For those with a more modest budget, the DiCAPac receives promising reviews as a high quality product for an affordable price.

The DiCAPac was introduced to us by local surf shop Carib Wind Cabarete, and has been tested with great results by several athletes, such as pro surfer Manuel Selman.

GoPro Filter Xmas PresentAccessories - Polar Pro Go Pro Macro/Combo Filter
In a town that lives and breathes water sports and GoPro filming, this gift is a nice touch for anyone with a GoPro Hero3 camera.

This Red Macro Combo snaps onto the waterproof Hero3 housing. Once on, the Macro lens can be swung open or closed. The macro lens will also lock back into place to stay out of the way while filming. The combo has a glass red filter for professional grade optics as well as a macro lens for razor sharp close-ups.

This fun gift is also to be found at Carib Wind Cabarete.
